I am trying to find some good ram for my new build. I want something that I can oc the hell out of if i so choose but I am on a limited budget so no $300 OCZ or Corsair. I am looking for something in the PC3200 or PC3500 2.5-3-3 or better range but again, money is limited. Could you guys and gals help me out on this? Also, what type of chip should I be looking for and how can I tell if I have found it or not i.e. bh5, bh6, tccd, etc? What is the difference in these chips? I guess the mobo model would help, Abit AN8 Fatal1ty. Thanx for all your help.

I have a gig of the memory linked by the poster before me. I paid $212 for it when I purchased it. I would buy it again @ $160 no prob. Mine turned out to NOT be good overclocking memory, I think the max FSB was 223 or so... but that was great in the times of the XP1700 which I bought at the same time. :)

That memory served me well for a good while, and is going in a Dual Xeon box next week, so it'll serve me well for a bit longer.

 
i dont think that bh-5/6 or utt would be a good choice for you, as abits vdimm usually only goes up to 2.8-9 depending on the board. tccd is a great choice for this box.
