RAM failed, need new, quality RAM

Recently I've been getting a lot of BSODs and I figured out that the RAM was the problem. As I write this Memtest86 is running and after 24 minutes there have been around 310,000 errors, so I need some new RAM.

Right now I've got 2 gigs of Crucial Ballistix Tracer and 1 gig of crucial ballistix. Is there any RAM out now that is known for its quality or longevity? I don't really care about overclocking the ram so much as long as it will last longer than this crucial RAM. Specs are in the sig if you need 'em.
 
i've been running ocz reaper for a few weeks with no problems. a buddy has been running 2gigs of the same line without any problems for over a year. i sold my ballistix because of so much bullshit with them. i think ocz is a good bet right now.

ps. if you dont care about overclocking i've had a lot of success with adata. and for the ballistix...rma and ebay them i made my money back considering i got them with a big rebate. good luck
 
thanks leetskeet I'll look into ocz, and the ebay idea is great.

A bit of an update, I just ran Memtest86+ on the 1 gig of ballistix, without the tracers and it passed all the tests without any errors, so I guess the problem is only in the tracers
 
Just to be VERY thorough, you should test each module individually and do so with Legacy USB Support disabled. Since you are running 4 up, this may not be the memory causing the errors.
 
I disabled legacy usb support. I tested each ballistix separately and neither had any errors. I am now testing the tracers separately and there are ridiculous amounts of errors. I am using the same slot for each test. Do you think i should test the different slots?
 
I'd check out Corsair, they have great products and customer support.

Only if you get zero errors in the slot you've been using.

Signal timings vary a bit by slot and by the total load on the memory bus, so I test each memory module in each slot and also with every other module installed. If any module fails such testing and nothing is overclocked, then that module is bad.
