when i go water on my 7900gtx should i even bother ram cooling? i dont like epoxy cause its hard to remove without removing the memorychips. i have 3 fans 130cfm blowing up onto the card from my trip rad so im not sure if i should bother coolking ram unless the heat cant come off the chips as well without them? what u guys think.

Don't bother. It only adds more restriction, and ram doesn't really need much cooling. Just set a nice big fan near it, and you'll be set.

well if running a thermochill pa120.3 to cool opty148 and single 7900gtx ill be fine cant get much more stable then 3ghz on water anyhow and ill max out the gpu but running bare chips with aire flowing over them will that be enough

ramsinks are a joke. they do nothing to increase your oc. the ram on my x1900xt is bare and they oc just fine.

use a 50/50 mix of epoxy and thermal paste, in my case arctic siliver alumina epoxy and ceramique paste and do make sure its non-conductive. The RAM sinks stay in place and can be removed, very sharp/violent knocks will make them fall off.

i think ill try them bare first, but could u do the cremique epoxy with ac5?
