RAM cooling important to 6800 OC?

Just wondering, want to put on a water block, but I don't have Ram sinks, how important is RAM cooling to these cards? Btw mines océd to 400/800 16v6
 
I haven't had any experience with a 6800NU, but I would say that ramsinks are pretty important. I've got some aluminum ramsinks on my watercooled GT, and they get pretty warm to the touch during games. So warm that I added a fan to blow on them.

Now I know that this memory doesn't need to have any cooling, but its gets hot. Why not throw some on there? I'm really curious about how hot ATI memory chips get on their cards, since they're not cooled at all. It may not do a lick of difference, but I felt better knowing they wouldn't overheat...
