I am contemplaying adding some more ram to this. It is on sale at NE, and is a very good deal. I am worried, however, that there will be a conflict between the new ram, and the old 512 stick. Can anyone tell me one way or the other? Thank you :)

Current RAM:

"Crucial Technology 512MB 184-Pin DDR SDRAM Unbuffered DDR 400 (PC 3200) System Memory - OEM"

Possible New Added RAM:

CORSAIR XMS 2GB (2 x 1GB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) Unbuffered Dual Channel Kit System Memory Model TWINX2048-3200 - Retail

Cas Latency: 3
Timing: 3-3-3-8
Voltage: 2.6V
ECC: No
Heat Spreader: Yes
Buffered/Registered: Unbuffered

Also... is there any difference between that first set of corsair ram, and this one? (It is only $1 less):

CORSAIR XMS 2GB (2 x 1GB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) Unbuffered Dual Channel Kit System Memory Model TwinX2048-3200PT - Retail

Brand: CORSAIR
Series: XMS
Model: TwinX2048-3200PT
Type: 184-Pin DDR SDRAM
Capacity: 2GB (2 x 1GB)
Speed: DDR 400 (PC 3200)
Cas Latency: 3
Timing: 3-3-3-8
Voltage: 2.6V

Buffered/Registered: Unbuffered
Heat Spreader: Yes

So, hehe, any difference between the 2 Corsair ram setups? And would there be a conflict between them and my current crucial ram? Thank you :)

your computer will probably hate you if you run 3 sticks in it. just use the 2x1gb and take the 512mb out. saves the hassle of worry about compatibility, and you won't notice the difference between 2.5 and 2gb anyway :p

really? i looked that mobo up... it says it has 4 slots and can hold a max of up to 8gigs of ram...

and... am i crazy.. or is there no difference between the two corsair ram setups.. i cant figure out why the one is $1 more... arent they the same thing?
