ram compatible with ASUS P8P67 PRO

Well, ASUS doesn't list anything on their product page for Memory/Device Support
Link (click the Memory/Device Tab to see "Nothing").

G.Skill says that memory is for the X58 Chipset. (Triple Channel)

That doesn't mean it won't work.

You will probably have to contact Asus Support for a definitive answer.

However, you may want to stick with one of these built for Sandy Bridge and G.Skill states supports that specific motherboard:

G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL7D-8GBXH

Or
G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9Q-16GBXL

Or
G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL7D-4GBXM

While it will probablly work for best and dependable (e.g. doesn't vary with which bit of ram you are accessing) performance you ideally want to be putting a matched load in. So for a dual channel platform a 3 stick set is a poor choice.

hi novice builder here, would like confirmation if this ram is compatible with the P8P67 PRO/Intel Core i7-2600K

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231358

Yes, but performance might suffer due to the fact that running three equal-sized sticks of RAM would have forced the i7-2600K's IMC to run in a "Flex" memory controller mode where (in this case) 8GB would run in dual-channel and the remaining 4GB would run in single-channel. (Remember, LGA 1155 CPUs have only dual-channel IMCs, not triple-channel IMCs.)
