OK, I have an Asus P4C800-E deluxe and as those of yuou who know have it, 2 of the memory settings are DDR400, and DDR320. Well, because I was overclocking I set it to DDR320, but the thing is that when it's booting it says the RAM is running at 320 MHz, but if I set it to DDR400, it won't boot. I'm pretty sure that it is using that 320, or 400 mark as the starting point on the overclock, but howcome it doesn't show the correct speed while booting? (i.e. 390 MHz or whatever it is) Could a BIOS flash fix this?

I'm just guessing here, but could it have something to do with the memory ratio
(2:3, 1:2, etc)

If this was set incorrectly when you changed the speed of your mem, it might cause your comp to not boot.

no no no, the comp is booting, it just doesnt display what the correct ram clock is... I mean, i know when I overclock it's going to those speeds, cause if I tell it to run at DDR400 it wont boot... given taht it is overclocked to 936 FSB.... But why would it overclock the ram without telling me the clock? Or is it telling me the number (divider) I told it to start from? (i.e. 320, 400, 266...)
