werd they are very restrictive

Pretty much all of the Raidmax cases are the same inside, but different looks. I bought a different style last winter just becuase of the cheap price and descent looks. It is actually a pretty solid case. Yes, the pack panel grill is pretty restrictive, and if you have the time and tools it wouldn't hurt to cut it out completely and place a steel fan guard over the holes. As long as they haven't changed the design of the cases, the front can accept 4x 80mm fans. This to has the same mesh facing but I decided to leave this as it works pretty good as a dust gaurd. I was also able to mount a 120mm fan using some of those holes. It's a great placement to keep the hardrives nice and cool. I just bought a newer style case from someone in the FS/T forum that has the exact same interior, just different look outside. It's a pretty good quality cheapo. I would also suggest changing the fans if you have the money, the stock ones are pieces.

Hacked them out of my case, chassis is the same as the one posted above.

damn that looks nice man.....wat did u cut the grills with and hows the airflow afterwards?

a cordless dremel that sucks...I don't have the system togethor yet, but the flow will be a 100x better since there are just 2 big holes in the back..I'm sure of that, those stamped grills are just horrible.

Yeah, I might just have to cut the stamped grill out of there, he's getting some tornado's to put in there so...I also told him that when he saves up enough money to replace the side fans...he's on a budget.

Who the fuck would photoshop a fan grill out and lie about it, give me a break.

Anyone ever hear of cutting discs and sanding discs, You can make an almost perfect circle if you follow that template around then sand it.

well you dont need to make a PERFECT circle, down to the picometer, im sure air wont care as long as its unrestricted. just be sure to sand the edges so its not sharp
