I'm new here and I thought someone might help me restore all my old data. My computer recently developed raid issues. I am using the Epox 4g4a+ mainboard which contains an onboard raid controller. I have 2 80gb harddrives connected to form a raid-0 striping. Everything was working well but after a recent reformat, I am not able to see the array
within windows. I am using a seperate 80gb logical harddrive connected to the regular ata controller as the base for my operating system. Previously, I could just go to My Comptuer -> Manage -> and see the array there. But now no matter what I have tried, I am not able to see the array. The highpoint BIOS recognizes the array upon boot. The only
issue is that HDD2 in the array screen is shown as 'hidden'. Is this right? Below is my system information from SiSoft Sandra. Thanks for your help.

Edit: Not able to attach system info to this post for some reason. So it is at this link:

Start > Run > (type) diskmgmt.msc > what do you see?
you have reloaded the RAID drivers in the OS?
Your using NTFS? if so there will also be permission issues
the new install being unaware it owns the array since it was created in another install
(not the RAID array as far as the OS is concerned its a single disk, but it still doesnt know it owns that since it didnt format it and set the shares permissions)
