Raid Question

I am using a pair of IDE drives set to raid 0, both on a seperate IDE channel.. When looking under Nvtune I noticed that Ide master channels are set to PIO rather than UDMA. Is this normal for a raid config?

Msi K8n Neo4 Plat Sli
2x Maxell 40gb Drives

PIO is dead slow, switch back to DMA if possible, should be set to DMA Mode 6
