I have an old AMI / LSI Logic MegaRAID 428 ultra wide scsi raid card. I also have (4) Quantum Atlas II 4.55gb SCSI hard drives that I want to run in RAID5 with. Would it be better to split two of them into channel A and the other two in channel B or have all four drives in channel A?

My noob guess would be that it is better to distribute the bandwith over two channels than to have it on one...
