Ok, Ive got windows installing on my primary 60 gig drive, I needed to install the raid drivers to install xp... SO!, I want to add another 60 gig drive in my secondary space. Do I have to install raid drivers for that drive too???? im so confused.

My specs of my laptop.

Sager 9860
Sager 9860 3.4ghz intel. Gig of pc4200 (2x512).ATi Radeon x800 256 mb Video card. (2)60 gig 7.2k hard drive. all of the extras

drivers are for the raid adapter/interface, not the drives. If you intend on adding a second drive in there, the question you should be asking yourself is raid0 or raid1.

Wow, Raid in a laptop. Now I have seen everything*.

*everything may vary due to availability.

Ok... I just want the drive as a backup drive... Like another drive to store my shit.... So I just plug in my other hard drive and Ill be good?

You will have to partition it etc.. but basically yes.
