I'm trying to set up a computer with a mirror raid configuration between the main boot drive and a second hard disk, but all raid options are grayed out. Running Windows 7, btw.

Some extra information. The computer in question carries a M2N68-AM PLUS which originally used an hardware raid set up using two scsi sata drives. Now, the raid controller has been turned off from the bios, and windows 7 is already installed on one of the drives. The owner wants the machine back within the day, so reinstalling windows is not an option (which excludes resetting the original hardware raid setup i suppose?). But windows 7 doesn't want to do a software raid setup as well. I'm a bit in a quadrant here.

With hardware like built in chipset (ICHxR) or via a dedicated RAID card.
