Raid Log File Question

Hey Everyone,

I have a

Raid - Intel RAID SATA 8 internal port w/ 256MB cache memory PCI-E 2.0 x8 Controller Card (RT3WB080)

Expander - Intel RAID Twenty-four port Expander Card RES2SV240

I get the following message in the log file and I don't know what it means. I have all power saving turned off. Also one of my raids has been giving me issues. Wondering if this is a reason / cause. The raid is just dropping one drive, and I ran test on it, tests fine. Start rebuild and works for a while.

It could be a bad drive, it could be a drive that has a power saving mode enabled on the drive itself and is not accepting external instructions or could be any of a number of things. What manufacturer/model/firmware is the drive, and does that precisely match all the other drives in the array?

Most of my drives are WD Green either 1TB or 3TB. On a side note I did have a drive just fail on me the other day. I need to check if the message is still happening. I feel stupid not putting 2 and 2 together :-( sorry!!!
