RAID combinations on a single card?

This is probably an easy question to answer and I'd like to think that the answer is yes, but I've never attempted it and wanted to be sure.

Is it possible on a 4-port RAID card to have two harddrives in a RAID 0 array and then the other two in a separate RAID 1 array? Or do all of the drives attached to the RAID card have to be in a single RAID array?

I'd like to get two 320GB (WD3200KS) drives in a RAID 0 (if for no other purpose than to get Windows to believe they're a single drive, not solely for performance) and then get two other 320GB drives to serve as a mirrored backup drive.
 
On every card I've worked with you can assign different drives to different arrays. You should be fine to do it that way.
 
Most raid cards support spanning which would allow you to have windows see only drive but without the problems associated with raid0.
 
This depends on the specific RAID card you are using. I've used both types - one that allows multiple arrays and multiple array types, and one that only allows a single array to be defined (with all other drives that are not part of that array remaining as individually accesible drives)
