RAID Card Recommendations/Reviews

Hi,

I didn't see a card review thread out there unless I missed it. Is anyone out there familiar with the Addonics Technologies ADSA4R5?

I found it on the web but would like to know if anyone has any good/bad experiences with it. I just upgraded my MCE box for HD and am now thinking of using the old system to build a NAS. Any reviews on RAID cards, MB/Card/OS/etc. combinations that work or don't work would be greatly appreicated.

* The onboard SATA controller chip is SATA II compliant and capable of 3G/sec. Depending on the clock rate of the PCI BUS, the actual data transfer may not be able to reach the 3G/sec data transfer.
 
Found a few reviews by Xbit Labs that may be of use to some of you. The cards they reviewed are a bit too pricey for me but do seem to have some good features. Here are the links:
