Raid 5 Degraded

I have a htpc that I have a boot os along with a raid 5 setup. I had an unexpected shutdown and now the array is showing as degraded.

The drive is brand new so I am assuming it is due to the shutdown. I am in intel matrix storage manager and can see the array, shows degraded and it is disk 2, it shows it failed.

How do I know if it was due to the shutdown or a bad disk? I looked for options to rebuild the array with the disk but couldnt find it in storage manager.

I did feel all four of the disks and there is vibration so it sounds like they are connected to power. I checked all connectiions and everything seems fine.

Any help would be appreciated.

I could be wrong (so if somebody corrects me, I probably am), but IIRC the onboard Intel RAID5 will instantly show a RAID5 as 'degraded' the instant the computer has an unexpected shutdown - and to have it rebuild the RAID, just click on the drive in the storage manager and select 'Mark as Normal' and it'll start rebuilding. Will take most of a day, though, and the drives will be sloooooow until then.
