Will the x8 PCI express connector on the Areca 1210 PCI-Express x 8 RAID Card work in the other x16 slot on the DFI nF4 Ultra-D Ultra?

One person on Newegg reports partial success with his 1210. I believe someone on here has tried this and it worked. BIOS updates in the future will likely turn the partial success into complete, even if it's a little flaky at first.
