RAID 1 to single SSD

I have a RAID 1 for my OS and it is using Intel’s onboard RAID. I am trying to move it to a SSD and have used numerous backup and drive cloning apps but every time I time to boot up, I get UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_DEVICE. I have run chkdsk and other equivalents. They usually find an error in the upper case file, whatever that is, and that’s it, but it still does not fix the issue. Any advice?

It looks like you have no master boot record on the SSD.

Do this
http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/ht/new-partition-boot-sector-windows.htm

Be aware:::
Boot your current RAID array.
When in the DOS window, be sure to change to the drive that you want fixed (your SSD) before typing the "bootrec /fixboot" command.
ie CD g:
Or whatever drive letter the drive is using on your current boot.
If it doesnt have a drive letter, use disk manager to assign one first.

When you reboot the SSD drive, it should become drive C: regardless of what it was before.
I am assuming you know how to assign which drive to boot from.
If not, please say.

Found a similar one on Hiren's boot CD called bootsect. It fixed the issue. Thx
