I just placed an order for a new server that has 2 SATA drives in raid 1. I want to know how to recover should one drive fail. What would I do? I'd need to get a new drive that's the same size as the other two, then what?

The server will be backed up by an independant tape drive just so you know.

Remove the bad one, put in the new one, and probably read the manual as it might vary from one controller to the next how recovery works

Usually if you have a drive go bad, the RAID controller bios will usually stop and warn/prompt you with a set of options (this is all on bootup).
