RAID 1 Rebuild Questions

I've got a server which has recently had a drive failure. I've replaced the failed drive with an identical drive. In the Intel RAID utility (the one during statup) it says that the RAID 1 array is currently rebuilding itself and both of the physical drives are recognised.

When I go into the Intel Storage Utility in Windows it reports the new drive as "Missing Hard Drive Member" and does not say that it is being rebuilt.

Is this normal? Is it actually rebuilding the RAID 1 array or not? Do I need to do anything else?

Nevermind. It is rebuilding now.

Ok. The Intel Storage Utility was reporting it as "Rebuilding...35% complete" etc. The last I saw it was on 77%. Now it has returned to saying "Missing Hard Drive Member".

Can anyone help?
