I really can not decide on what I want to do for hard drives for my new computer. All I know is I want around 300 gbs of space and something that is relatively fast. I do some large file transfers and gaming. Thing is, I do a lot of installing and uninstalling. I guess I would just be happy with a drive that cuts down on installions.

I do not want RAID 0. I was thinking of getting 2 hard drives. One for main and one for backup. Making back ups takes forever, so should I create a RAID 1 setup? Is there many negatives to RAID 1?
