I am currently thinking of going to a RAID-1 setup, however I was wondering. Will my load times be faster than RAID-0 ? Which do you all think is faster? Thanks.

Raid-1 or RAID-0...???

RAID 0 is the faster of the two when it comes to read/write performance. But, that's not what you run RAID 1 for. You run it for redundancy. If you want redundancy and better performance RAID 1+0 will fit the bill.. but you need 4 drives for that..
