Im getting my new system any time now and Im wondering about a raid 1 config. I have some info Id like to back up and have never setup a config like this. Is it worth it? How would I do it if it is? thanks
 
Repeat after me.

Raid is not for backups.
Raid is for Availability.

If you want to back up, you are much better off using a dvd burner and putting your information on something NOT mechanical that you can easily store off site, or someplace safe on site.
