RAID 1+0 wont boot suddenly!

I have my dads ASUS SK8N with RAID drives set on 1+0. Latley they wont boot up. It just says instert bootable device even though it says that the drives are fine in the boot up sequence that checks the drives. It says they are functional. Nothing has changed in the bios and I checked the connections.

What else can I do? IF I boot with an IDE drive will the RAID drives be accessable in Windows typically?
