Ok as you can see with the specs in my sig I am running RAID 0 with 2 raptors.
What I want to know is I am currently running a 4k stripe with the drives and its definately faster when loading games (I know lower stripe is better), but can you go to low with the stripe? Like if I raise it will I faster or slower load times?
My computer use consists of gaming and streaming anime/movies/music from my server. The games I play are Counter-Strike:Source, World of Warcraft, Farcry, UT2004, Doom3 and various others.
So I don't deal with any "large" files on my gaming rig.

Thanks

I'd stick with the current size. I'm pretty sure anything too small would increase the latency of the system due to the overhead involved in cutting up putting together the tiny file pieces.

I have 2 Seperate Raid 0 Arrays with All 74GB Raptors. The best Stripe Size I found was 16K Accross the board.

On an Intel ICH5R
