raid 0 vs. single raptor?

Forget for a moment about the differences in storage space and price. Which would you rather have: A single 74gig raptor, or two maxtor 80gb 8mbcache drives in a raid 0? My main use is gaming, with a 2nd place slot being taken by encoding/transcoding.

Thanks for any suggestions, information, etc...
 
Encoding and transcoding would gain much from a raid0 array. However, it's twice the chance of HDD failure (which isn't much btw).

I'd get a 36GB raptor and a big HDD for storage. The 74GB raptors are utterly overpriced, and do you really need more than 36GB for your install folders? Get a 120GB as storage!
