I've got two Velociraptors in my machine. One I bought when they first came out, and it is the "G" version.

The second is the re-configured "H" version I recently purchased.

Would there be any issues setting up a RAID 0 with these drives? I know you normally want to use matching drives, but I believe the only real difference in the drives is the mounting system.

For some reason there is a issue with intel matrix raid 0 setups. I had 2 velo 150gb raptors just fail on me. The drive is still good. Just one of the drives gave an error in the raid. I have used the older raptors in raid 0 for a few years and not one problem.

I should be able to use the Marvel controller, correct?

The board is an ASUS P6T Deluxe.

Or I can get a add-on PCIe card.

I haven't decided whether to do this or not yet. they are pretty fast by themselves :)
