Alright, about a month ago I asked you how you hooked your carputer into your stereo, well, now that I've gotten my car, I need to know how!
I'm going to be buying a stereo with Auxillary inputs (is this what I need? a friend told me this is how I should do it), is that how you set yours up? if so, how do I wire it?

Thanks ahead of time man.

...a strange thread indeed.

"Auxiliary inputs" in the context of car audio usually implies stereo RCA type analog inputs. That means that you simply use a an adapter cable to convert your soundcard's stereo 1/8" male phone jack to a compatible pair of RCA male jacks. These adapters are available at any major audio or electronics store.

That's it. There are no special software changes you need to make.

how bout a private message? if he hasnt responded its because he hasnt been here?

also there is a car audio forum under the car forum... why not post a question there?
