So basically i snagged one of these off ebay a bit ago, and i had a system waiting for it to go into.

tyan tomcat 815e chipset board, paired up with a p3 733 and 384mb ram.

just to note, im using dx9, and latest chipset drivres for the intel board, and using the reccomended ati drivers (current as of Posted Aug. 29, 2000 ) (The current RAGE FURY MAXX display driver is version 4.12.7942 (or higher) Boot to Safe Mode and check your current driver version. If it's less that 4.12.7942, download the latest drivers. )

now i didnt kno untill i ran into issues with it. apparently the furyy maxx and the 815 chipset have a compatability issue as noted here

but i believe the 815 chipset is the real issue here, as i did what was said on the first poage, got my bios revision and such, and turns out i need a bios update for the card.

113-67302-100 requires an update to 113-67302-101

113-67305-100 requires an update to 113-67305-101

to be honest, im at work now, and i know it was one of those two versions which requires an update...

what i wanna kno is any [H]'ers got a fury maxx or the bios lying around, or a link to d/l them? i searched ati.com high n low, came up empty handed, tried a bit of googling, nothing either. i sent a email to ati cust care, but i see they want me to MAIL them

Please be sure to include:
your BIOS Part Number
the serial number from the graphics card
your name
shipping address (no P.O. Box numbers)
daytime telephone number
e-mail address

im not goin to mail them unless i absolutly have to, so can anybody out there help me? :)

um, yes i believe i searched their site as well....their site is in my daily news sites for bookmarks, so i visit the site half a dozen times a day and hang in the forum, i searched their forums as well, turned up nothing..but ill swing by their site now and do some digging around

anybody else? or better yewt, anybody HAVE a fury maxx lying around? or the bios itself? :) thanx again
 
mk, searched thru rage3d.com i cant find a files section, i cruised thru the forums once again, and no luck turning up an ati rage fury maxx bios...i might be stuck tryin to hassle ati :(
