RadioShack Files For Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Protection

Wow. first PC I ever had, Tandy 1000 SL. those Tandy 16 color graphics were the shit, back when most games were written for 4 color CGA graphics.

I can remember picking up a 256K memory expansion (gotta have 640K to play the good games) think I payed over $200 for that. oh, and the 20mb hard card It was over $400 if I recall, no more swapping floppies for me!

My Army unit at the time had TRS-1's, gotta love an 8 inch floppy.
 
I needed a microphone "today" back in December, which I got from Radio Shack.

They did pricematch Amazon, so I paid a decent price for it (LOL at their "Sale" price on it) but it also took them a long time to figure out how to do the price match, which was kind of annoying.
 
I'm still using my 12 year old shitty but workable Soldering gun from them back from 2001. I really should get something better.....
 
Not even the 80's themselves could help :(
