Radio station software?

I'm one of the primary tech people for my high school's new radio station, and I'm looking for a piece of software or other solution, I thought you guys might be able to help me with this.

The deal is that we have this PC box (reasonable, 2.4ghz and 160gb hd) in the radio room. We have the tape out from the mixer going into the computer's audio in.

Basically, I want a reccomendation for a good piece of software for recording at length. I want to record our shows (~30min-1hr) and then have iTunes shuffle them when no one is on the air.

So far the best FREE software I've found to do the job is Audacity, but that's still pretty buggy. Any reccomendations that do not involve buying any additional hardware?
