Radiator question (need thin radiator)

I have the Silverstone Fortress FT02 case. It has two GTX 480 installed. Because of the way the motherboard is oriented, I have about 1.5" for a radiator between the 180mm fan and the GTX 480. I want to watercool my system (i7 975 and two GTX 480).

So my question is: are there any thin radiators that will fit in the FT02 and have the enough power to cool an i7 975 and two GTX 480 (maximum thickness of the radiator cannot be more than 1.5")?

The 180mm fans are likely to not have enough air pressure to force air through the radiator, and in your case, if you want a thin radiator, you will need high fin density radiators. And high fin density radiators require high air pressure for effective cooling. You probably want a different case to go water cooling.

mount your radiator on the back of the case with a radbox.:D

Can't do that with a Silverstone FT02, due to its unique orientation. There's two options: removing the top panel, and mounting the radiator on top, or do an external loop.

I know... the ft02 is a beautiful case, but it's not very water cooling friendly. I was thinking that I wouldn't venture into the wc business.... but I hate my friend.

I ran across this thread:

He did a great job, but he's using some gtx275 and not the power hungry (and heat exhausting) gtx480. I wonder if a thin triple rad would cool two gtx480....

I've found some other 1.5" thick rad's but the question now is whether of not if it even makes sense to try to use them to cool two gtx480.

A thin triple rad for only the two video cards might do the job, although the temps will likely not being amazing. The one problem again, as pointed out above, is the fans supplying the air to said radiator. That 180 might not be able to push air very effectively through the stealth rad.
I wonder if you couldn't place these on the pull side of the radiator:

Three of 1600 rpm ones with the 180 fan might do the job you're looking to do.

The only problem with those 120mm fans is that I'm limited by the 1.5" space between my gtx480 and the 180mm fans. The thinnest rad I've been able to find are a little thinner than 1.5". Adding another 12mm (~.5") probably won't work for me :(

When you have issues putting rads inside go with an external winner!

The MORA-2 kicks ass and is externally mountable.

Well.... two issues with external rads:

1) it's not aesthetically pleasing (in my opinion)
2) (more importantly) I can't hide it from the wife.......

Now, the FT02 comes with radiator brackets for the bottom of the case, right? Is it not possible to put your radiator there? Is there something else blocking it in that position?
