I have the Antec P180 case, and was wondering if it is better to have the radiator on the outside of the case, or on the inside and does it make that much of a difference?

Currently I have the radiator on the inside of the case.
 
Instead of starting a new thread I'm going to simply post here:

I'm thinking of getting a P180 and WC'ing because I'm tired of loud computers. I also do some mild overclocking. How effective would it be to mount a single radiator over one of the exhaust ports and is it possible to mount one over each exhaust port with a 120 mm fan? I want to keep everything inside of the case to keep things quiet.

Sorry for the hijack but I figured my questions are relevant to yours ;)
 
I have 3 watercooled systems and I have a P180 case. I love the P180 case but I _would not_ pick it for watercooling necessarily. It is not easily modded and it has very cramped quarters even without any WC gear.

Does this mean you shouldn't? No. Am I saying don't ever? No.

Just letting you know my opinions.

I see a lot of WC components that utilize drive bays for reservoirs and some that offer reservoir/pump combinations. What's the practicality of things like that as a means of dealing with the cramped quarters?
 
I have a P180 and once I get my finances together I will be watercooling it. My plan is to get a PA160 and place it in the front of the case. If you cut out the 3.5" bay and the bottom 5.25" bay the PA160 fits in perfectly. As for two radiators in the back/top, I dont think there is enough clearance for that, the fans are a little close together.
 
I would try outside and see if you like it better than what you have now. If you don't move the case around much, then I would go external.
As for me I have two WCed PCs. One has the RAD inside and the other is a external.
