Radiator mounting question - flow up or down?

Does it matter if the radiator is installed vertically (pointing north/south) with the inlet/outlet arranged at the top or the bottom?

I am curious if this has any effect on flow rate.

Also, can you have two pumps pull from a single res? I have the EK Bay res and was curious if I could do that safely.

The radiator orientation doesn't matter. The only thing it'll effect is bleeding the loop. From my experience having the inlet/outlet at the top will make bleeding the rad easier. If you have it the other way, there's a chance for air to get stuck in the top of the rad which will decrease performance. It shouldn't have an effect on flow rate. If you have a reservoir that's above the radiator then either orientation will work.

You can have two pumps pull from a single res but then the liquid from each loop would mix. In this case you're better off running the pumps in a series rather than separating them.
