I just finished gutting my nautalis 500 water cooling system I used for my HTPC and made it completely internal but I am running into an issue, where to put the radiator. I have built a wooden box (didn't really turn out the way I wanted it to) to house my HTPC subwoofer and a bunch of other random crap so it's not so covered near my tv and currently I have my radiator sitting on top of the box so it can cool more efficiently than being inside a hot box. My next step is attaching a fan to the radiator but I have no clue how to power this fan. I thought about just running a really long molex connector to the case but then it would be a pain in the ass for when I have to pull the computer out of the box. Now I am thinking USB fan since that would be rather easy to disconnect but I don't think that would be enough to power a 12v fan unless yall know of a high CFM usb fan. So yeah thats where I am now, any thoughts? I'll post some pics of the entire project maybe later tonight when I have time to upload all the pictures

radioshack sells unterminated 120mm fans and carry ones that run on DC and that run on AC. maybe you could pick up the AC ones and just plug em in?

either frozen cpu or cooler guys. one or both of them has AC and USB fans if I'm not mistaken.

Just as a little update what I did until I can buy the actually stuff I need from coolerguys is took my rather old(9 years) atx psu I had laying around grounded out 2 of the pins covered the entire thing in electrical tape so it stays and put that psu at the back of the wooden box so now I have a seperate power supply to power the fans I want for the box and radiator. So far so good, No noticable increase in sound and that fan on the radiator is making a big difference. If only I wasn't just laid off I'd buy those coolerguy fans and I would be all set!

Frozen CPU sells 120v to 12v adapters. They terminate in a 4 pin 12v Molex connector. 2A max. Pretty handy to have around in a general sense, but would fit your need pretty well.

Just go to a thrift store and pick up a 1A charger around 7-10v and use that. They cost $.45 at my local thrift store and they have a huuuuge bin full of em (using a 9v 1a charger on 2 120mm fans and its working excellently in my home theater cabinet :D)
