Has anyone had experiences with leaking radiators?

I live close to the sea, (humid weather) and I have my radiator on top of my case, so if it leaks, the water would go straight down to my vid card  and that would be no good.

All copper loop btw

What does humidity have to do with anything? The entire inside of the radiator is essentially submerged in water and its unpainted.

I had one days ago. Alphacool radiator I bought used leaks on one of the ports. Had to end up throwing it away. First thought it was my compression fittings; But brand new fittings from diff makers had the same result.

I am on my third reservoir in 4 years that has developed cracks in the polycarbonate. Thinking its UV exposure. About ready to find a brass solution.

Sounds like a damaged thread on the radiator....

@OP - Nope, radiators are designed to operate continuously with water .... humidity will do nothing. Maybe its the salt in the air you are more concerned with? Still should not be an issue

I was thinking his concern with humidity might make the temperature difference between the rad and ambient air cause condensation on the rad and cause the rad to appear to be leaking.

Maybe I'm off the mark.

what kind of black magic cooling are you using that cools your water below the dew point?
