Radiator and Fan Question???

I have read in several places that the width of the radiator being used matters because it is harder for the fan to push or pull the air through the radiator.
If i were to put a 120mm fan pulling on one side of the radiator and one 120mm fan pushing on the otherside of the radiator would this help the airflow between the radiator or does it not matter? Thanks.

That will help a bit, and it will also increase noise. Read this: http://www.overclockers.com/articles1155/

If you're using a thick rad, a higher airflow fan is the better choice, and a lower flow one would be better for the thinner core*.

* I'm in a search for the perfect core :)

A higher flow fan is really the better choice regardless of how thick the radiator is. There's no reason to choose a weaker fan just because the radiator is thinner.

True, but some people prioritize silence over maximum cooling ability. If you are already sold on a quieter (i.e. less cfm) fan and are deciding on a radiator, then you are better off with a thinner radiator (BIP) over a thicker one (BIX).

I think I remember them doing an article on Push/Pull/Both at procooling. Sorry I don't have a link but the conculsion was that pull is better than push, and having a fan on each side of the radiator (push and pull) was slightly better than just pull but way noisier.

Yep :)

My favorite fans to use on rads/cores are Panaflo L1's, second are those Evercool aluminum ones. I really like the new Coolermaster aluminum fans, but their CFM is rather low at 50 something.
