• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

Does radeonpro need to connect to some webserver during startup? I can't seem to get it working and got an error message about network connection.

Not sure about the network connection but sometimes RP wouldn't start for me unless I manually started the service by using Start>Run(searchbar)>services.msc.

You're right it wasn't a network connection, it was a service support error message. I restarted the pc and it worked. I don't know why the service couldn't start earlier although it was set to automatic.

uninstall, reboot, and reinstall

it uses the task scheuler to start itself to avoid UAC issues...
