I was looking to upgrade to a X850XT because I found a good deal on it and I'm not planning on upgraded my system anytime soon. My current system is an Athlon XP3200 with 1Gb of pc3200 memory. Would this card be bottlenecked by my system? If so what is the best possible card I could get that would not be bottlencked by my system? thanks

No, it would not be bottlenecked by your system. The x800/x850 are great cards for an althon system. I have the x800xt running in my overclocked 2500+ Barton system. Its nearly as good as my AMD64 system. Plus, I am sure you can overclock your cpu a little more giving you no reason to biuld a new computer yet, unless you want the new 7800s or x1800scraigmp said:

it might be slightly bottlenecked but I wouldn't care in the least
You can get something like a Radeon 8500 if "bottlenecking" is the only important thing to you

yeah you'll be fine, I just got an x850 series card and its really nice, i upgraded from a 9800 pro which is still pretty good, i just dont wanna build an entire new system just yet. my proc is a 2500 barton clocked at 2.2 currently I dont have any problem running the newer games.
