Radeon HD 4870 Questions

[Perini]

1. How big are these things? Assuming the various manufacturers are making them in similar dimensions, does anybody have any info about the length of these cards?

I recently picked up a machine from Dell that was configured with the 8800 GT, so I figure as long as the 8800 GT will fit, the 4870 should fit as well. Unfortunately, I can't find the dimensions of either.

2. Which manufacturer is most reputable at this point? I see Diamond, Sapphire, and HIS all make them. Does anybody have a favorite?

Thanks in advance.

1. Its about 1/3 to 1/2 inch longer than a 8800GT, but shorter than 8800GTX and GTX 2xx

2. They're all pretty good. I usually buy Powercolor...

I think Visiontech is the choice with a lifetime warranty (from another thread).
