i dont know how silly this will sound but i gotta ask:
will this radeon card work fine with my intel core 2 duo setup? i notice alot of people who buy it are running AMD processors. i have the Asus P5nSLI and Core 2 Duo + 4gb ram.

i am almost sure that both radeon and geforce cards will worth with just about any setup (AMD or Intel) but i gotta ask.
i havent kept up with upgrades in a long time and im lost

Probably, but I can't guarantee it. The P5N-E boards were very poor for both reliability and compatibility, and they have had problems with Radeons in the past (but then they've also had problems with some geforce cards).
