radeon 9800 pro... cheap?

why are the radeon 9800 pro's so cheap now?

and do guys/gals think this is a good time to upgrade from a gfx5900 non-ultra to a bba radeon 9800 pro?

The 9800Pro has dropped in price because of the 9800XT and the new gen of cards is just around the corner So if you can wait then that would be the best bet now, but for the price the 9800Pro Just has no compatition

I'd say even at these great prices, that would be a waste of your money. Now, when I upgraded from my 5200Ultra, _that_ was a good deal...

Right around the corner means April release BTW. You gotta decide how long you want to wait... also it if you are waiting, why not wait for a PCI-Express card? It will only be 6 months more...

The 5900 is a pretty good card, I wouldn't dump it so soon.
