Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
i'm overclocking my 9600 Pro and i'm wondering... would increasing the AGP voltage from 1.5 to 1.6/1.7 help me get higher clock rates on the core and the memory? also, would it be safe?
afaik, increasing the agp voltage *could* allow you to run the agp bus at a higher speed, which in theory, could improve performance, but I don't know what kind of stress etc that puts on the card, so I can't recommend doing it(unless I see that it's not very stressful on the card)
You're probably thinking that increasing the agp voltage would increase the voltage to your core/memory on your video card, which it wouldn't AFAIK, but you can perform volt-mods on it. Search for "unoid 9600" on google.
