I played around with my new Sapphire 7850, dual-fan model, this weekend. After playing for a while in Operation Flashpoint Red River I get tearing/artifacting, sometimes the game will start locking up. Never did this until the new card, previous card was an HD5670.
I'm running the latest 3/28/12 drivers, temps are ok (about 50C GPU and CPU), , locking the card at 100% fan does nothing. Seasonic 500w power supply. i5 2500k.
Should I RMA the card or this a typical driver issue people are experiencing? I already RMA'd the card once as the first one I got had a noisy fan!
