I dont know why but my card seems lacking in umph or maybe its just skyrim or other games i play or i just expect too much, my sig has the rest of my specs and im using the 12.9 drivers, im running at medium res on most games and older ones at high, i hit 60FPS on most but still seems laggy, would a wired mouse help this? cause right now im using a wireless one. Im running at 1400x900 19in widescreen connected via dvi. Any suggestions? i was gonna bump up to a 7850 or maybe at this point wait for the 8000 series?

Don't think wired mouse should help with fps. Make sure you disable vsync and often clean system.

I would say expecting too much from a low end card. I would get the best video card you can afford, or a good price/performance one. A 7850 would be a good place to start, even at your resolution. That way if you decide to go to full 1080+ you will still be fine.

Try a wired mouse, even a cheap one. At that resolution a 7770 should be steamrolling everything but metro 2033 on high settings. Also make sure you haven't accidentally enabled SSAA. At 1400x900 a 7770 can use it in older dx9 titles, but newer ones are probably too much, and some engines will slow down but not reap the benefits due to the way the rendering is done.

skyrim shadows ultra kills fps, put it at high and see. at that rez 7770 should be strong enough for most games.
