It's in my bro's laptop...what should it be getting in 3dmark01? It's not playing anything right now and I'm a little curious...it won't let me install ATI's drivers it gives me an error...
 
The 7500 is similar to a GF2 MX. - it's DX7 only so you won't be able to run all the tests. Depending on your proc the highest score you could ever hope for would be around 4000. My guess for this system would be between 2000-3000.
 
k, but my dad's p4 1.8ghz runs so much faster on a geforce 2mx than my bro's...as in if he can't play a game he goes in there and plays it...his laptop is 2.4ghz
 
1.8GHz what? 2.4GHz what? Celeron, Duron, Athlon, P4, Athlon 64?

How much memory? What speed?

Are you sure the "Radeon 7500" is a real one or some underclocked laptop part?

There's a bunch of factors involved in these things.

They are both p4. I've had a lot of problaems with these damn ATI drivers, they won't install right at all since I reformatted, says it's missing hardware.

That often means you don't have all the mobo drivers installed yet.
 
They weren't recognized after reformat...but I went to Dell's drivers and download them all...pretty sure I got them all.
 
first off

to my knowledge ati cats arent meant for laptop drivers
so you will have to go to the manufactors webpage of the laptop and get them there

ive had some luck using omegas on my bros laptop, but i am unsure how well those take

ATI Panel and Catalyst Control Panels won't work on laptop version of ATI cards. You gotta go to ATI's drivers page, hit the Laptop, and download that.
