Radeon 69xx series release date?

The recent articles have shifted from "Should be out sometime around"...
to
"They will be out on"...

And that date is December 15th.

Who knows which slides are legit or not, but I've seen the 15th listed on a few slides as the NDA. I'd suspect a Tuesday release, since that has been the trend lately, but with the 15th listed who knows.

I really hate the waiting game and what is it with a midweek release? Release it on a Friday or a Monday or something normal so that the sales will be better.

*sigh* This chews because I am looking for a new card, im looking at the gtx 460 1gb(prolly the msi frozr2) the Gigabyte radeon 6850 1gb, or maybe an 6870, but want to see what the 6900 series will do to the pricing if anything. But, I have heard they will be the $300+ range and if thats the case its not looking good for any price drops. I game @ 1680x1050, Blacks Ops, L4D2, etc.

If you can wait a little the 560 might be coming soon. It should beat even the 6870 and bring all 3 of those cards prices down.

oh noes more waiting.... Well the good thing is im on my 9800gt back up card and its doing 70 fps with 4xAA, so I guess I can hold out. :)

So..............Wednesday?

I would have to say that's correct since no [H] reviews today.

I'm looking forward to this and it's (hopeful) effects on prices of existing GPU stock......HoHoHoHO......:D
