I recently switched over to using 2 radeon hd 6850's. The cards run fine on their own but when run together in crossfire they underclock horribly. The main card underclocks to 100 MHz for GPU clock and the memory clock runs at 150 MHz. The second card runs at 300 MHz GPU clock and 300 MHz for the memory clock. Can anybody help me fix this issue "if it's not supposed to happen".
Thanks, yodazb

is this underclocking happening while playing a game or while on your desktop?

Educate yourself people, that is normal behavior of the cards. When idling on the desktop, the secondary crossfire card will downclock to 100core/150mem to conserve power, and the primary card will be at 300core/300mem.

Install GPU-Z and run the render test and enable real time clock monitoring so you can see the actual clocks while in 3d mode.

Not something that is made known, if you feel its such an issue have a sticky made with the info..
