this new mobo i ordered has a 3300 on it. would it be faster than my 7800gt?

while the amd intergrated chipset is decent by intergrated standards the 7800gt will still pimp slap it.

Meh. I've never had my hands on a 7800, but I've got the 3300 and its nothing special. It plays source games on all high setting in 1920x1080 perfect. Thats not saying much, but thats just a frame of ref. I had it playing Crysis on all low settings in 1280x1024. Again, nothing special. With the prices anymore, theres no reason not to just buy a nice gfx card. I'm not saying you are willing to spend this much, but I just picked up a gtx 280 for $250 shipped. Just look around [H] if you are needing a nice gfx card. Not that I should be telling you... u've been here years..
